About Us

In the summer of 1996, I came to Corfu and worked for a tour operating company in Paleokastritsa. That summer, I met my husband from Doukades village. On my days off, he would take me to different parts of this beautiful Island, and most evenings, we would spend our time together in the village square enjoying a meal in one of the tavernas or sitting in the village square hanging out with his friends. 

I loved it. It was so different from being in the resort with all the tourists this was the real Greece, an authentic Greek village with a glimpse into the Greek way of life. 

After two blissful summers and a Greek winter here, we began to build our family home. I fell in love with the plot of land straight away, the views, the trees, all the different shades of green, and so much space! Coming from London, this place was heaven to me.

1999, we started building, and in 2004, we moved in. We spent the following 18 beautiful years turning our place into our family home and making the best memories.

Friends & family would visit each summer, and all would tell us how much they loved it here, how relaxing it felt, and what a beautiful spot it was. They all wished they could stay in our place for their holiday.

2022, we made it happen. Our lovely home was now officially a Holiday Villa—a place for visitors to stay, with all the comforts of home and more.
